We were at Nanna's this weekend and took advantage of being so close to the lake. Monet enjoyed playing in the ankle deep water and watching the fish and frogs! 
Anut Kay Kay took us for a boat ride in the morning on Sunday, but it was a little TOO hot...even at 10am.

Monet loved Nanna and Pop-Pop's new toy! She wanted to drive it up the hill, but her legs were a few inches too short! 
On Saturday we went to Jill's Bridal shower. It was such a lovely shower with great food and cake! Monet helped Jill open the present she brought for her. And then played with Louisa for the rest of the time. We lasted much longer then I had imagined.

It is so wonderful to watch successive generations play in the lake, and watch successive generations of fish, frogs and turtles.
Also, Monet is a little lady-just like her Mom!
We had a great weekend, playing and trying to stay cool. Louisa and I sure love it when Monet and Auntie Heather come to play!
