Friday in the Park

I haven't walked around Portsmouth for years and so looked forward to doing it with Monet and Teelin. The sun was shining warmly and the sidewalks were busy with others getting outside and working the rust off the jogging stroller wheels and sandles! We enjoyed snacks and watermelon in Prescott Park and then ice cream down by the tug boats.

Dinah found her way into the toy chest and peered out at us looking as if she wanted to blend in with the play things!!

Mom found these adorable green chairs just perfect for little ones. Teelin seemed to approve!

My mom, sister Kate, Teelin and I took a weekend trip to Long Island to attend a baby shower for Carolyn Anderson. We had magical spring weather and a great time visiting with good friends.

Teelin and Monet had much fun celebrating Easter in their matching outfits, well not exactly matching, but the fabric was the same and they looked like children from decades ago. Even though each family member from our large brunch group only gave the kids "just a little bit" of chocolate/sweets it added up and we have a mound secretly stashed in the cupboard. I think Monet ate more chocolate on Easter then any other single day of her life. Easter has bumped Christmas from the favorite holiday spot for her!!

Haven't posted any of Monet in her dance class for a while and this last week Doob got some great shots I thought I would share. We will get a video next week for those fan club members!

Plaground with TWO

Our local Home Depot has an ice cream stand and playground next to it, not to mention a driving range and miniature golf course directly next to it as well. We haven't been there since last fall, when Teelin was a wee little guy and slept the entire time in the sling. On Sunday we decided to check it out and Doobie hit a bucket of golf balls while I took Teelin and Monet to play and attempted to distract Monet enough so she wouldn't notice all the other kids who were eating ice cream cones....YEAH RIGHT....who knew they started serving our favorite summer treat the 1st of April!?!? Wish I had a photo of Monet enjoying her kiddy dish of strawberry with Doob (who was freezing)! She was in heaven!

No Foolin' Around in April!

We welcomed April with a nice visit from Mom, Kate and Louisa. They tried to fool us by spotting unusual birds out the window and spotting holes in Monet's new pants. HAHAHA.
