Party in the rain

Mother Nature decided to water the fall vegetation on Saturday, just in time for Teelin's birthday party. So we brought lawn chairs inside and did pumpkin decorating in the garage. A few three year olds decided to play in the raindrops and even seemed to find a huge umbrella as well. The rain didn't stop the fun and the birthday boy still had a wonderful time tasting applesauce cake (make with homemade applesauce with apples from our tree) with cream cheese frosting and opening presents.

Not so sure what to do with the cake at first and I think it took him a good 5 minutes until he decided to go at it with full force.

And he was happy with that decision!

These photos are from two separate visits to the Montshire Museum of Science in Norwich, VT. We visit often and recently Nanna came along with us and enjoyed it as much as Monet and Teelin did! Teelin is now big enough to be set free in some of the areas and is loving this new freedom and exploration time.
