big nap & big noises

Monet took a big nap in thr grocery store & when we got home, which allowed us to put the groceries away, eat lunch and take this cute photo! wow! that is a record!















On Saturday her and Doob had an early morning conversation at the table. We found that when we sit her upright like this she is louder and actualy makes new noises!

Baby Bag!

We are finally getting Monet used to the Baby Bag. She seems to like it and it makes things easier for us! Our hands are free to do other things like fold laundry, make lunch and of course check on the pool!

Miss Monet took a nice nap in Dad's arms tonight! Gives mom a chance to get a few things crossed off her list!


 

Doob's first DIP!

The pool is open and ready for business! Just in time for the 4th. If we can't be in Maine we atleast have some kind of water to play in...and I think it is the same temp as Crocket's Cove!

A Pea in a Pod!

Monet took a nap yesterday with Doob and fell asleep after a feeding in the Bobby. Looks too comfortable for words. What a cute little pea in a pod!

 

Coming out of the Baby Fog...

So the last month has been all consuming with Baby Monet. I can say that it is harder then I had imagined, but more rewarding and magical then I can explain. Monet and I venture outside and do fairly well avoiding the bugs and the sun. I need to get myself out around the town more often, but we are working on that!

This photo was taken at dusk and you can see Uncle Pete in the background widdeling a walking stick he found on Mt. Ascutney. He only wished he could be a Green Mt. Boy!!


 

My dearest Heather has been taking wonderful care of baby Monet so I thought I would add this shot to her blog. It is the 1st photo taken of the Baby. Ma, PA and Lil' Miss Monet are doing super. 

Nursery is ready for baby Nowlan!

The furniture is painted and in the room, the drawers are full of clean clothes, diapers are in place and night lights are plugged in. I think baby Nowlan will have a wonderful place to come home to in the next couple of weeks. Here is the family anxious awaiting his/her arriva!

I never posted any photos of our trip to The Wentworth by the Sea so here are a couple. We relaxed inside and out!  

Somebody had to hold the futon frame so it wouldn't fall out of the Tundra!! Pete was happy to volunteer!  

Joe, Pete, Doob and I visited a sugar house in Westminster, NH. The Philly boys had never seen a maple sugar operation so it was fun. We of course induldged in yummy pancakes, waffles and french toast and a few homemade donuts.

Here we are at the Balsams..no coats is still hard to believe after years past. Look forward to next year when we will have a little Nowlan to enjoy it with!

Nursery will have Bunnies!!!

I decided on a wallpaper/border for the nursery and thought I would share. It is just so damn cute and has the name "Sweat Pea"....can't pass that up.

The room in getting to its final stages of being ready to paint and wallpaper. Man did we make a mess, but it looks better all ready and will be done in plenty of time for our little bundle.

Week 29!!

So I have reached week 29 in my pregnancy and feel great. My ever growing belly has outgrown some pants and shirts, but I still manage to find something to wear every morning.

As I sit here at my desk at work our baby moves all around reminding me that I am no longer alone...I will soon be a mother to the little girl or boy safely stored away inside me for now.

Washingon, DC or Bust

I am headed to Washington, DC tonight for the National Conference of Volunteering and Service. http://www.volunteeringandservice.org/. I hopefully will get to meet some fun and interesting folks and get some sightseeing is as well. It takes place at the Washington Convention Center www.dcconvention.com, which is supposed to be state of the art.
