Apple Picking with Monet

We took Monet apple picking on Saturday. It was such a beautful fall day and we just couldn't resist breaking a few rules in the orchard.

Monet did share an apple with us by just licking a bit of the juice....just a quick taste of the good stuff to come. 

Monet the new sports fanatic

Monet is all dressed up in her Phillies onsie with a skirt and her Eagles socks. Uncle Pete is setting her up to be a Philly sports fan one way or another.
















Then Monet and I were sleeping late and then waking up when dad thought it would be funny to take our photo. Please excuse out hair! :)
 

Kinnick is home in Iowa!

The night before the unvieling we were actually able to get in to the stadium to see the field and see where we were watch the game!

The crowd adored their Nile statue and I wonder how many photos now exisit of the big guy!
















Miss Monet had a great time at her father's unveiling...here we are in the club lounge of the stadium after the unvieling. What a wonderful weekend!!!

Will Gentian Violet do the TRICK??

Well I have turned both Monet's mouth and my nipples violet! Only temporary...don't worry...it is just my latest attempt to get rid of the yeast plauging our nursing relationship. If nothing else it surely does give us a chuckle!


 

Monet is 16wks

She can really hold her head up well now and doesn't protest tummy time like she used to. And maybe one of these nights she will actually sleep in her beautiful crib!  

Junkins meet Monet!

Brendan & DAnielle had a nice visit with Monet. I think she even ma have learned a few Chinese phrases! Gotta love pink sneakers!

 

Michelle and Poncho Tie the Knot

Monet got to wear her Cinderella Party dress aunt Kate gave her. She was admired by all! Michelle looked gorgeous and the Behner's and Nowlan's all looked dashing as usual!

Monet modeled her 1st pair of jeans for us on Friday. She thinks she is pretty hot stuff standing up! 

Monet is 3 months!!

She is all smiles these days and thinks life is pretty fantastic! She weighs 13 pounds and is getting longer every day!




















Her and Doob missed each other last week and have been able to spend some nice time together these last couple of days.



















Yesterday I went to do laundry and found her in the basket. I guess that was her way of telling me she needed a bath. And honestly she wasn't crying the entire time....just when I get the camera out.

 

Raincoat anyone?

Kevin and Kyle probably got the wettest on Saturday! They truly came prepared in just a t-shirt, a few bucks for beer and an empty stomach! And they are all smiles here and were went we left too! :)  

A Little Rain Coundn't Keep us away!

The BBQ Fest was a bit of a washout this past weekend, but we still went and had a blast. We stayed pretty dry until we had to make it throught the mud, etc. back to our cars.

Thanks for coming with us Scott, Kate, Kevin, Jill, Kyle and April. Monet truly enjoyed her first live music!

Monet got her first harp lesson from Nanny this past weekend. She LOVED it!



















Uncle Scott got to spend a few minutes with her on the deck. Man those hands taste good!

Monet took a big nap in thr grocery store & when we got home, which allowed us to put the groceries away, eat lunch and take this cute photo! wow! that is a record!















On Saturday her and Doob had an early morning conversation at the table. We found that when we sit her upright like this she is louder and actualy makes new noises!

Baby Bag!

We are finally getting Monet used to the Baby Bag. She seems to like it and it makes things easier for us! Our hands are free to do other things like fold laundry, make lunch and of course check on the pool!
