Louisa, Monet and Ethan got some good quality cousin time on Turkey Day.

Louisa is trying to help out where she can in the kitchen.

Now that we are home Monet is asking for her Aunt Jill and Aunt Katie and of course LaLa. She misses everyone already; and we have only been home a few hours.

Thanksgiving 2006

Louisa was still in Kate's belly and she was lovin' on Ethan and Monet anticipating the next Thanksgiving when she would have her own....and we are now there. What a difference a year can make!

Napkin Anyone?

Monet is slowing learning to use her spoon...it usually ends in a MESS, but that is half the fun right?

She got in her doll cradle all by herself the other day and read a few books. Why not?

BARNEY

Barney has entered our lives and we aren't sure if this is a good thing or not. We sing the songs all day long and in our sleep and Monet seems to want to either watch or look at renditions of Barney ALL THE TIME! Did you know there was a Barney Fan Club? Doobie has mastered drawing the purple dude and Monet asks for him whenever a drawing utensil is in our hands. I need to practice!

She was quite happy with the chalk drawing!

We got three pumpkins a while ago...one for dad, one for mom and one for Monet. She knows which one is hers.

Cliffs of Moher

Here are some more photos from our Ireland adventure.
Here mom and Evan are looking very jolly as they drive through the Burren on our way to the Cliffs of Moher. Notice how ther is NO room on either side of their car for error! Imagine meeting a much larger truck in the other lane?!?!? Heading towards the cliffs on foot now Monet is staying dry in her plastic stroller cover and mom and Doob can't walk up this path fast enough!

Here are the beautiful Cliffs. We got to see them with sun, without, with some mist and rain and through all of that they were breathtaking!

Mom was kind of enough to take Miss MLJN on a walk so Doob and could climb the stairs to get a better view of the cliffs from the north side. It was a nice walk & we thank you mom!!

Caherdaniel

Here we are heading to the beach in Caherdaniel! VERY Exciting moment!

Monet had a grand time playing in the sand and water for a while. She didn't want to leave.

Here is the Abbey Island cemetery that we have ancestors in. We wondered around here for a while and took a million photos.

This is the Blind Piper pub that I had visited eight years prior. We took this photo in the same place I took a photo with Alice O'Sullivan....a cousin.

Enjoying the WARM Temps

Monet burned off some of her toddler energy yesterday playing outside with Sweat Pea. They climbed trees, checked out the Adam sculpture that has found its way to 1392, and kept the beach ball from rolling down the hill.

Fun at the Enfield Playground

Monet ran off a little energy at the Enfied playground the other day. She loved the tunnel slide....more to yell into and hear her echo then actually slide down it. And check out what the slides do to her hair! too funny.

Learning to wash her hands

We have been trying to instill the idea of washing hands before we eat. So I pushed a stool near the sink and Monet now enjoys sink play....two bars of soap, the toothbrushes, and anything else she can reach. Her hands eventually do end up clean!!

Lawn Ornaments

We took Monet to one of our favorite fall places today in Woodstock. We decided that it was WAY more fun with a toddler!

She played with sheep, cows, pigs, foxes, bears and even a few geese. We should have gotten a few I think....they don't eat too much, don't poop and can even leave them out in the rain. :)

Monet the Crazy Lady

We got this alligator at a second hand store and now that Monet is on the run she loves pulling it around the house.! She also plays with the kitty's bed and climbs in it and sits. Here she fell out backwards and was taking a few seconds rest before continuing her busy day of destroying the living room.

MLJN

The other day Monet chipped one of her front teeth :(
We think it was a little sore so her and I shared a popsicle after getting jammies on. The dentist said there was not too much to worry about and that chipped teeth are common in teetering toddlers.

Here she is modeling her biker skull cap and doing a goofy smile for the camera.

She was telling dada that she was ready to help him get his computer set up, but the bag was a little heavy!!!
