Monet the Artist PART II

Doob came home for lunch today bearing a wonderful handmade gift for Monet. She has been drawing on it ever since and even when we were sitting going to sleep for a nap she kept sitting up saying "color...color....color...." Such a perfect thing for her and beautifully made so it will last her for years to come!

Monet is buzzing with creativity. At home she wants to draw and color like crazy and she also loves cruis'in thru the studio with Mom!

Junkin's in Town

The Junkin's clan stopped by for a visit this afternoon on their way home from skiing. It was a nice visit and Monet entertained them all! Kathy's niece Catherine (her sister Pat's youngest daughter) was with them and her and Monet got along very well.

A White New Year

We can blame not being able to stay up until midnight on the fact that we played in the snow for extended periods of time. Here are just a few photos from our New Year's Eve snow playtime.

Making homemade pasta is a labor of love and is more enjoyable with numerous sets of hands. So Saturday night we tackled a meal that will be remembered in 2007 as one of the best!

The babes needed a bath the next morning so we combined efforts and cleaned two at once. The certainly are bathing beauty's!!!

Christmas Dinner...on the 26th

We were just a little too tired to tackle Christmas dinner on the 25th. So we slept on it and made a delicious dinner last night of King Salmon, lemon risotto and steamed green beans. It was made extra special with some hollandaise! It was worth the wait!

Ho Ho Ho

Doob and Santa had a nice laugh! And that blue eye poking through the white hair looks a little familiar! LaLa and MoMo took turns with the VW wagon!

And they sure do love each other.

The Puhl's came by on Saturday for a visit and Monet got to know Justin, Alyssa and TJ. Tommy is an old friend of Doob's.

Danny, Jeannie's oldest son, held Monet so they could place the star on the tree. Monet and Danny hit it off and we all think he will be a GREAT dad some day!
