Happy Birthday Monet!

Monet has entered the world of a two year old. Her Aunt Katie and cousin Louisa came to visit for a few days and helped us prepare for her Birthday party. On Friday we celebrated with a small ice cream cake and sang "Happy Birthday" three times, while ichatting with Nanna, Pop-Pop and Uncle Scott. Monet would take the candles out of the cake, lick them off and then put them back in so we could do it all over again.

Louisa, being just 14 months, hasn't indulged in ice cream too much. But her mommy let her have her own small bowl of Carvel cake and Louisa LOVED it!

Daddy Doob gave Monet some books...and he searched for some of her favorites at the bookstore and was successful. Monet's Curious George paperback collection has grown, much to her delight.

We had such a great time playing and preparing for the Parrr Tee! Monet is so wonderful, she is very sweet with Louisa. Good work Heather on planning and organizing the party, some day I will tell Monet how hard you worked for her:)

I had a very hard time with your signs of spring poll. When I was younger I would always mark the first robin sighting on the calendar. I also love to rub the fuzz on the fiddleheads but tonight, with the windows open, I can hear the peepers so that's what I chose.
