Story Land

We took a break from our ever looming house projects and drove the Kangamangus Hwy to North Conway for Saturday night. The main reason for the drive was to take Monet to Story Land. She was a perfect age to go, however, we had as much fun as she did! Even though as a pregnant lady I was allowed on some rides and Doob admits to not being a fan of spinny ones! We were contently aware of the fact that were a family of three and enjoyed our time together and the reality of just a single stroller, one little body to keep hydrated an fed and one bottom to successfully make it to the potty in time (Which we did!!! No more diapers for Miss Monet!!!!).

Yes she is screaming with delight!

I was surprised she went into this ball pit!!! She just took off her shoes and walked straight down the ramp....I stood at the gate ready to jump in at any moment to rescue her for the first few minutes, but then did relax and walk around for a different look.

These tricky swan boats were NOT easy to stear, but we did manage to get in camera view a few times. And all Monet wanted to do was go swimming!

Here we are on a little ferris wheel shaped like a hot air balloon....I just love her face!

And this is Heidi's grandfather's cabin, which I visited as a kid. There are many new features to Story Land, but there is plenty of the old charm still left.

That looks like fun! When I take Maria down the slides and on the swings at the playground it's so much fun, I eye the climbing walls and zip lines and wonder if she'll sit in her stroller for a couple minutes. I ran into a woman at the grocery store with a potty top that she put on regular potties for her young daughter. Do you carry potties around with you?
